Gedeelde charters in Capri

A shared boat excursion in Capri allows individual travelers or smaller groups to book ticketed seats on a vessel alongside outside guests. This is a highly cost-effective and social alternative to an exclusive private charter, making it ideal for popular activities like snorkeling, sunset sails, and coastal sightseeing. Because these trips operate on fixed schedules and pre-planned routes, they provide a reliable, budget-friendly way to experience a destination's top maritime highlights without the investment of a full boat rental.

The primary difference comes down to exclusivity, itinerary control, and cost. Shared Excursions are operated on a per-seat ticket basis with fixed departure schedules, set routes, and outside passengers. Private Charters in Capri give your group exclusive use of the entire vessel and crew, offering complete privacy, flexible departure times, tailored catering, and a fully customized itinerary.

Yes, shared excursions are highly cost-effective because the vessel's operational costs, like fuel, crew, and licensing are split across individual ticket holders, letting solo travelers, couples, and small groups experience premium waters without paying for a full rental. However, for larger groups or families, booking a private charter in Capri often proves more economical on a per-person basis while delivering a fully customized itinerary.

A shared excursion in Capri includes your passenger seat, certified captain, mandatory fuel, and safety gear. Optional amenities like snorkeling masks, bottled water, or light snacks vary by tour tier, so review listing specs closely.

Yes. Shared excursions in Capri operate on precise, rigid schedules to accommodate all ticket holders. Unlike a private charter, where you command the clock, shared vessels must depart strictly on time. The vessel cannot hold departure for late arrivals, making punctual check-in vital, as missed departures on shared trips are non-refundable under safety policies in most cases.

Public or shared excursions around Capri are ideal for older children and social families, but they present challenges for toddlers. Because shared vessels operate on fixed schedules, they cannot alter routes or return to dock early for tired children. For families traveling with younger kids, booking an exclusive private charter is highly recommended to give you absolute control over the itinerary, privacy, and pacing of your day.

Snorkeling gear may be provided complimentary or rented at check-in, depending on your ticket selection. If you or your children require precise, custom-fitting equipment, we highly recommend bringing your own gear onboard.

Shared excursions vary in capacity from small-group trips to larger tour boats, meaning crowd sizes depend entirely on the specific vessel and route you choose in Capri.
