It was an excellent tour. The captain was especially nice in wanting to make sure everyone was having fun. I would highly recommend the private boat tour to Capri. Was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Thank you for a beautiful day sailing the waters and exploring Capri!
Excellent all the way around! The tour is limited to only 12 passengers. Beautiful boat with room enough on the spacious bow for all of us. We arrived to the Blue Grotto before the crowds. Such a highlight! Our guide, Attilio, and captain, Silvestro, were knowledgeable of the area and set us up with a plan for exploring the island prior todocking. Attilio also made sure we knew of the best places to grab pizza and gelato at reasonable a price (on an island where there are tourist trap rates). They also provided fresh caprese sandwiches and drinks throughout. Then, the best for last: following our afternoon on Capri, the boat picked us up at the dock and we motored around for site-seeing and a swim in the Mediterranean. Everyone in our group took a plunge. The day couldn’t have been better! We owe much of it to our guide and captain who navigated the boat with such ease, taking us right up to the waterfalls and caves. Excellent staff and service, with a sense of fun and safety as a priority. Thank you Mondo Tours and Rick Steves for recommending them on your website. We would absolutely recommend them to others.
This was a really fun boat excursion from Sorrento. My husband and I were with ten other people on the boat. We sailed to the Blue Grotto (extra fee €14 plus tip for rower) and after that around Capri. While on board, drinks were available to everyone, both alcoholic (beer, wine, limoncello) and non-alcoholic (soft drinks and water). Upon docking in Capri, Atillo, our host distributed sandwiches. He, and our captain, Alfonso, were great! They facilitated a smooth trip by giving as much information as they can so we stay on schedule, and related must visit sites both in Anacapri and Capri so we could make full use of our free time on the island. I especially appreciated the concern they showed my husband when he got motion sickness despite taking two pills before the excursion. Attilio is an attentive host and Captain Alfonso is an excellent sailor. My husband and I both enjoyed our boat tour to Capri with Mondo Guide. The memories of the fun we had will surely last a lifetime.
Don’t normally do reviews but what a fabulous experience – perfect day from start to finish … Mario was exceptional and is was fabulous to see Capri like a local, but in style. Ten out of ten … very much appreciated – in additional don’t underestimate how much time is saved by going with an expert. Uses same for 2 other tours and 2 transfers. Capri is amazing, and what is more amazing is Mondo tours! Vincenzo and Serena mapped out a breathtaking private tour where we hiked up the top of Mount Solarno, walked around Anacapri to the historical sites, had shoes made to fit our feet, lunch at Capri Palace, had private car transfer us to the shopping district of Capri, private tour of gardens and whisked away to a private boat for a tour around the islands, grottos and snorkeling. HEAVEN on Earth and so smooth! Capri can be very crowded and tough to navigate shuttle buses or get private boats. This is THE way to enjoy it! Life is short! Don't add any stress or waste of time to your life! Vincenzo can work any transfers out even back to Rome or the Almafi Coast!!
